FATCHIP realized the relaunch of the GRAVIS online shop and has been maintaining its further development until today. The shop is based on OXID eShop Enterprise Edition 4 which was extended and adapted according to the customer’s requests.

At GRAVIS, retail customers not only get offered a variety of technical products, but also digital lifestyle. The biggest German supplier for iPhone, iPad, Mac and more stands for high quality products, competent advice, attractive campaigns and 25 years of experience. Besides Apple, GRAVIS also offers a variety of well-known brands that round off the company’s product portfolio.

Requirement

The customer requested a relaunch of the old OXID eShop as well as a new layout for the OXID templates. The existing functions were to be kept; new functions such as the product’s collection in the store and an eBay interface were to be included.

Technical realization

The GRAVIS online shop had to be migrated from an old OXID shop version to the latest version of OXID eShop Enterprise Edition. During this process, the online shop was fully relaunched; existing features were integrated and new features were added. Besides the complex adjustment of interfaces and the connection of new payment providers, we also developed the store-pick up-feature. With this, the retail customer is able to select a store during the ordering process in which they want to collect their product(s). The passing on to the ERP system results automatically.
